Daydream, list, stare into space... I make haikus in my head; hence, haikuicise. It's a cheap way to entertain myself and I can break all the rules save one: 5:7:5

How are you surprised?
Left out in the rain and cold,
A bicycle rusts.
My kids are my strength by far, and often my inspiration (usually with my nice haiku.) I think of poetry as a relationship between words and reader. For me, this was a re-created journal entry from early in a pre-divorce time period when I was being abused and neglected. Growing up, my sister had this blue bike that she loved and loved that my grandfather made her. I never noticed until now that the blue bike was the physical image I saw when writing this! Enjoy reading, and thanks for the comments!
Sounds like a child inspired this one...I should try writing haikus when mine do things like this...
